The Pokemon Company has put out an urgent and important announcement for their Pokemon Center Face Shape Cookies SWSH (Sword and Shield).
The Face Shape Cookies, which were available at Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations in Japan, are no longer on sale as of March 4, 2020. This was after a customer reported finding 4mm iron scraps in the cookies.
The Pokemon Company has urged customers who purchased these cookies not to consume them and return them to Pokemon Center and Pokemon Store locations for a full refund. Refunds will be provided regardless of whether the product has been opened or not.
The company has also apologized to customers for the inconvenience caused, and will continue to improve their production control and quality assurance processes.
