Today we have an interesting piece of information to share with you about the Wii Shop, which was shut down earlier this year.
Many people believed after the Wii Shop shuts down, it would become impossible to redownload software that was purchased but deleted from the system. However, it seems that isn’t the case – users can still redownload deleted software from the Wii Shop.
This means that the Wii Shop servers hosting content are still active after the closure of the Wii Shop, leading some to believe the shop was closed so Nintendo doesn’t have to continue to pay too much fees to continue maintaining it.
