Good news for those intending to play Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 – the Switch 2 version of the game appears to have support for mouse controls.
This comes from a datamine of strings in the latest version of the game. A string called “Joy-Con Mouse (Right Handed)” can be found in the internal files of the game, suggesting that Fortnite will support mouse controls on Nintendo Switch 2.
Fortnite will be available for free on Nintendo Switch 2 from June 5, 2025, so you won’t have to wait too long to try it out.
