It’s Been 14 Years Since A 3rd Party M-rated Game Was #1 On A Nintendo Console

An interesting observation.

With the release of Mortal Kombat 11, we saw a new M-rated, 3rd party game take the #1 spot for the Nintendo Switch. The last time this happened was 14 years ago with Resident Evil 4 was released on the Gamecube.

Mat Piscatella tweeted this insight down below.

Coincidentally, Resident Evil 4 came to Switch just last week.

What do you think about Mortal Kombat reaching this milestone? Let us know in the comments.
