JAKKS Pacific has announced a brand new Super Mario figure based on the plumber’s loyal friend and occasional steed Yoshi.
Dubbed “Let’s Go Yoshi!”, the toy is an interactive figure with 13 points of articulation and the ability to play various sounds and music from the games. For example, patting his nose plays “adorable sounds” and pushing down on his head activates a chomping action and its associated noise. Other sounds can be activated through his shell and feet, as well as by picking him up and laying him down. His “instantly recognizable music” can also be activated through his top spike.
Regarding this figure, JAKKS Pacific Senior Vice President of Marketing had this to say:
“JAKKS Pacific is thrilled to finally reveal our newest addition to the Super Mario line, Let’s Go, Yoshi!, for fans of all ages, this has been a request for many years and our team is happy to bring this exciting Yoshi to retail for this holiday season.”
The “Let’s Go Yoshi!” figure is planned to release n store and online in October for North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
