During the Pikachu Outbreak event which took place between August 9th to August 15th, The Pokemon Company also organized two Pokemon GO events in Yokohama, Pokemon GO Park and Pokemon GO Stadium.
Niantic has revealed both Pokemon GO events have attracted over 2 million players during the 6 days. A total of 120 million Pokemon were caught by these players in Pokemon GO, out of which 15 million are Pikachu.
The Pokemon GO events in Yokohama will go down in history as one of the largest real-world gaming events, and Niantic promises more will be coming in the future.
