Many Bayonetta fans and Nintendo Switch gamers have been wondering whether the elusive Bayonetta Non-Stop Climax Edition, exclusive to Japan and other Asian countries, will support English.
We’re happy to report that the physical game carts of Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2, which are part of the Non-Stop Climax Edition, will support English and other languages.
According to a listing for Bayonetta 2 on the Australian Switch eShop, the game supports Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian. If the Australian version of Bayonetta 2 supports Japanese, it is safe to assume the Japanese version will support the same languages as well, which is the trend we have been seeing with past first party Nintendo Switch releases.
While the Japanese versions of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Splatoon 2 only support Japanese, Western versions of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Splatoon 2 only support English and do not support Japanese. Both Japanese and Western SKUs of Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and other first party titles support Japanese, English, and other languages.

*correction* American versions of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 released a free DLC pack for Japanese and now supports both languages.
Sweet! I was lucky in getting a copy pre ordered at Amazon Japan when I did but its great to know it'll support English.
