Japan: Famicom Controllers Revealed For Nintendo Switch

Nintendo has announced it’s offering a special set of wireless Famicom Controllers for Nintendo Switch to Nintendo Switch Online owners in Japan.

These are similar to the NES controllers announced by the company earlier today, except they have a Famicom design. You can charge them by attaching them to the Nintendo Switch Console, and play NES games.

The controllers will be available for pre-order exclusively to Nintendo Switch Online owners via My Nintendo Store from September 19, 2018 for 5980 yen (exclusive sales tax). No word on when they are shipping yet.

UPDATE: You can import the controllers from NintendoSoup Store.
