Along with the all-new Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION movie premiering soon in Japan, another Pokemon mascot has appeared!
Today, Japanese commuters spotted what looks to be an official Mewtwo mascot costume in front of Shibuya TSUTAYA – a Japanese movie rental chain. The mascot is, of course, wearing a banner with the movie’s title and 12 July 2019 opening date to advertise the film.

We’re not sure if this is the very first time the mascot has made its appearance in the public – but there’s no denying how amazing it looks! As usual, The Pokemon Company is on point with their mascot costumes…well, except for the hilarious Geodude one.
