It is the New Years once again and to celebrate it Nintendo has announced 2 promotions for their Japanese fans.
For those who are not aware, anyone with a Suica card and a Japanese New Nintendo 3DS/2DS (LL) or Japanese Wii U can tap their suica card on the NFC sensor of the device to top Nintendo eShop funds. In a limited time New Years promotion, until 14 January 2018. Players who top up their eShop funds with their Suica cards will receive 5x more JRE Points. Users must sign up for the free JRE loyatly points program before being able to qualify for the promotion.
On top of that, Nintendo has also announced that players who have bought more than ¥3000 worth of Nintendo eShop prepaid cards in 7-11 stores can receive up to 10% value of eShop credits back. All they have to do is to buy a Nintendo eShop prepaid card and head on here to fill in the application form. The promotion ends 14 January 2018.
