Japan: Nintendo Labo Crosses 200k Units Sold

It has been 3 weeks since the launch of Nintendo Labo in Japan, and it appears the sales momentum remains strong.

Based on Media Create sales data released this week, lifetime sales for Nintendo Labo’s Variety Kit and Robot Kit combined are now standing at 201,000 units.

Last week, Variety Kit sold 9,818 pieces at retail and was No. 5 on the sales charts, while Robot Kit moved 2416 units at No. 14 on the charts.

It’ll be interesting to see how things will turn out for Nintendo Labo in the weeks ahead. We’ll have to wait and see.
