Japan: Pokemon Let’s GO Bestselling Game For 2 Consecutive Weeks, Switch Sells 100k
Media Create has published their latest round of Japanese sales data for November 19 to November 25, 2018.
It’s been two weeks since Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu/Eevee launched in Japan and the rest of the world. Although the game sold lesser in its second week, it moved 162,467 units, bringing lifetime sales up to 823,707 units. Pokemon Let’s GO retained its No. 1 bestseller position on the software charts.
Debuting last week are Neko Tomo at No. 14 for Nintendo 3DS, which sold 5212 copies, as well as Nari Kids Pack: Hug! Puricure at No. 18 with 3301 copies sold for Nintendo Switch.
The Switch continues to sell a massive amount of systems in Japan – 108,375 systems were sold last week, and that’s about 74.7% of entire video game hardware sales in Japan.
