Japan: Pokemon Tretta Lab Will No Longer Be Available On The eShop Next Week

Pokemon Tretta Lab, a game which allows players to scan Pokemon Tretta discs to display data on Nintendo 3DS, will be taken down from the Japanese Nintendo eShop on August 31, 2017 at 5pm Tokyo Time.

The only way to download Pokemon Tretta Lab is by scanning a QR code in the packaged version of Pokemon Tretta Lab, which comes with a Tretta Disc reader accessory. Production for this package ceased in 2015, after the New Nintendo 3DS launched because it couldn’t support the Tretta Disc reader.
