Koei Tecmo has revealed, via the recent Weekly Famitsu issue, that its 2018 release of Warriors Orochi 4 is getting an Ultimate version.
Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will be releasing for Switch on December 2019 in Japan. It will be offered for 7,800 yen. In addition, an Upgrade Pack will be available for 4,800 yen for those already owning the previously released Warriors Orochi 4.
Over 170 additional playable characters will be available for the Ultimate version, coming from previous titles in the series. There will be additional side stories and will also feature various improvements with regards to control and playability, as well as an overhaul in the user interface.
Tomohiko Sho, will also produce the game. Sho was the previous director for Dragon Quest Heroes and the development producer for the recently released Dragon Quest Builders 2.
