Japan’s Tottori Prefecture Installs 14 New Manhole Covers With Sandshrew Designs
Back in 2018, The Pokemon Company designated both Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew as ambassadors in Japan’s Tottori prefecture. Originally, the two only showed up as part of some limited events or merchandise – but tourists will now be able to meet them just by walking through Tottori’s streets!
Recently, the city revealed that it installed 14 new manhole covers – all of which have Sandshrew-related designs! Additionally, each unique design also features other guest Pokemon who meet up with both versions of Sandshrew!
