As many older Pokemon anime fans may recall, Jigglypuff often butted in as a recurring nuisance and sang ash and his friends to sleep. Well, it looks like you’ll soon be able to have your very own intrusive Jigglypuff around the house soon too!
Thinkgeek has reportedly filed a new Bluetooth speaker with the Federal Communications Commission – one in the shape of the pink Pokemon! As you can see above, a prototype already seems to be in the works. Here are some preview images, as revealed by The Verge:
Based on a manual in the FCC filings, owners will able to connect to the speaker via Bluetooth 5.0 or a 3.5mm jack. The manual also mentions the speaker having up to 1o hours of battery life.
For now, neither The Pokemon Company nor Thinkgeek have officially announced the speaker. However, GameStop and EBGames stores have apparently slated the device for release in April 2020. We’ll report back if and when we hear more.
