In Niantic’s latest summer blog, Niantic CEO John Hanke gave an update to fans of Pokemon GO and Ingress on what they can expect in the coming months.
John Hanke hinted that Niantic is hard at work on the highly anticipated PvP (Player versus Player) system for Pokemon GO, that appears to be releasing in Fall 2018. Here are his exact words:
“Even as summer fades in the Northern Hemisphere, we are working on some surprises for Pokémon GO this fall to give Trainers even more ways to play together.”
This should be no surprise as Niantic has previously planned to release PvP system by the end of 2018.
