Join Masuda And Ohmori At The Pokemon Sword And Shield Launch Event In Japan

The Pokemon Company has announced an official launch event for Pokemon Sword and Shield, taking place at Sunshine City and Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan on November 15, 2019 from 9am to 9:30am.

The first 100 people to gather at Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo on November 15 will be given coupons to view the event at a special viewing area. The actual event itself will take place at the fountain area of Sunshine City.

Pokemon Sword and Shield producer Junichi Masuda as well as game director Shigeru Ohmori will be attending the event. Pikachu, Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble mascots will make an appearance as well. That’s not all – visitors who are lucky enough will win some special prizes!

More details will be published on the Pokemon Staff Voice website (Japanese) on a later date.
