Junichi Masuda Did Not Compose Any Music For Pokemon Sword And Shield

Today we have some interesting news to share with you about Junichi Masuda’s involvement with Pokemon Sword and Shield.

As you know, Masuda has always composed music for most mainline Pokemon games since Pokemon Red/Blue. However, his name is completely missing from the credits of Pokemon Sword and Shield, suggesting he wasn’t involved with creating music this time.

Though Masuda didn’t create any music for Pokemon Sword and Shield, he was involved with the games as its producer. He was also the director or producer for past titles.
