We have some pretty fantastic news to share with those of you into collecting K.O. medals in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Previously in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/Nintendo 3DS, players will lose the K.O. medals they accumulated whenever they change their name after a match. K.O. medals are awarded based on the number of opponents you K.O.ed (killed) in a match.
However, this has changed in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as K.O. medals are now treated as typical gold type medals. So you won’t lose them even if you change your name.
