Following the announcement last year, the Pokemon Company has opened the Slowpoke Playground Park in Japan’s Kagawa Prefecture.
The park is located in Kagawa’s Ayagawa Town, and features a number of Slowpoke-themed playground equipment and statues. Following its opening, visitors to the park will have a higher chance to encounter Slowpoke while playing Pokemon GO, as well as the opportunity to take AR pictures of Slowpoke using GO Snapshot. Finally, structures in the park will appear as Pokestops in Pokemon GO, allowing players to get postcards and other items from them.
