Ken Watanabe Joins Detective Pikachu Movie Cast

The Detective Pikachu hype is up. First movie rumours popped up, then the announcement of a Western localisation of the game with a large amiibo. Now we, again, got more news of the Detective Pikachu movie.

In an article by The Hollywood Reporter, Ken Watanabe, has signed on for the Detective Pikachu movie and will play the role of Detective Yoshida, a character that was specifically created for the movies.

Ken Watanabe is known for his roles in Godzilla, The Last Samurai and Inception.
