The GFK has published their list of bestselling games in the UK for the week ending in March 26th, giving us our first sales data for Kirby And The Forgotten Land.
According to GFK;s data, Kirby And The Forgotten Land topped the UK boxed sales charts last week, beating out the other major new release Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands for the Playstation and Xbox consoles. Kirby And The Forgotten Land sold 2.5 times more than the previous mainline Kirby release Star Allies, overthrowing it as the biggest launch in the franchise’s history. At the time of this writing, this has also made it the fifth best selling Kirby game of all time in the UK.
Other Nintendo titles that made the list include Pokemon Legends Arceus at #5, New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe at #7, and the ever popular Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at #10.
