Media Create has released its sales data for the Japanese market from April 2 to April 8, 2018.
Coming out at No. 1 is Kirby Star Allies, selling 35,319 copies in Japan. It’s surprising to see Kirby Star Allies still selling strongly without much of a drop off even after 3 weeks. The game now stands at 392,413 copies sold.
Following close behind at third, forth, sixth, and seventh place are Splatoon 2 (21,980 copies), Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (13,849 units), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (8551 copies), and Super Mario Odyssey (8211 units) respectively.
And the top selling hardware of last week goes to none other than Nintendo Switch, which moved 40,016 systems. The PS4 and PS4 Pro comes at a far second with 14,000 units sold, while the Nintendo 3DS family of systems churned out 9000 units.
