In an interview with 4Gamer, the character designer and producer for Atelier Ryza has shared some character concept art from the game which reveal many interesting things about it’s development.

For example, the main character Ryza has gone through many redesigns with even the character designer of the game hating one of them as he thought it wasn’t what the development team was going for.
