NetherRealm Studios recently revealed a brand-new, rip-roaring fighter to Mortal Kombat 11 – Kollector!
According to his description, the Kollector once served as one of Shao Kahn’s main commanders. Having accrued his wealth and status over the years, he’s now faces execution under Kotal Kahn’s cleansing rule.
In particular, players can expect a technical fighter with a lot of tricky tools up his sleeves. The trailer below showcases some of his moves – including the ability to teleport behind foes, and a long-range chain attack. His fatality is truly brutal stuff, with his four arms ripping opponents to shreds like an animal.

A new fighter joining the Mortal Kombat franchise, The Kollector was born into poverty and seized his collections duty with a zeal that impressed Shao Kahn, becoming one of the Emperor’s most feared associates.
As more of a corrupt, mafia enforcer than a government official, The Kollector stole riches from Outworld’s people, rewarding himself with wealth and status in turn. But when Shao Kahn died, Kotal Kahn vowed to weed out the former regime’s corruption.
After years in hiding, living off his ill-gotten gains, The Kollector was captured and now faces execution, determined to destroy anyone in his path.
Mortal Kombat 11 will be launching for Switch and other platforms on 23 April 2019.
