Furet du Nord, one of the largest retail chains in France that is carrying the Nintendo Switch Lite, has put out some remarks to the media about their weak Switch Lite sales.
According to a Furet du Nord representative, the Nintendo Switch Lite has failed to meet the retailer’s sales forecast as sales were lower than expected. They were disappointed by this because the Nintendo Switch Lite is after all, a new and different model.
The representative further commented that the entire Furet du Nord chain has only sold 2 digits worth of Nintendo Switch Lite units since launch, and the chain didn’t feel any excitement from consumers when the Switch Lite launched in September. All in all, it’s not a good start.
