Still hoping to see the worlds of LEGO and The Legend of Zelda cross paths one day? Well, this new fan-initiated project might be right up your alley!
A new campaign on the LEGO IDEAS website has cropped up – with the aim of re-creating Link from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild as a pose-able brick figurine! As seen above, the proposed set would also include some weapons and scenery for Link to pose with!
Here’s a closer look at the proposed figure design below, along with more details about the idea from its creator:
“Set out on an epic quest to defeat Calamity Ganon and bring peace to Hyrule with Link, the most iconic character from The Legend of Zelda. Recreated at an instantly recognizable and fully posable scale, LEGO Link provides countless play opportunities for fans of BotW to recreate their favorite scenes and battles. Link would also look perfect displayed on your shelf or desk. This project features a fully posable Link, standing over 7” (19cm) tall from head to foot. A detailed stand, featuring Silent Princess flowers and a Korok, provides even more play and display opportunities. Wearing the Champion’s Tunic, Link features many detailed accessories, including his· Soldier’s Broadsword,· Traveler’s Bow and Shield,· Quiver,· Scabbard, and· Sheikah Slate.”
As at the time of writing, the project has barely 100 votes, with a total of 10,000 votes required before LEGO considers it for review. You can help out by casting your support over here.
