LEGO recently released a new update for the LEGO Mario figure, adding an interesting hint towards the next character that may be joining the sets.
As documented by @AyliffeMakit on Twitter, the new update for the LEGO Mario figure gives it a number of new voice lines calling out for the plumber’s brother Luigi. According to reports, these voice lines are triggered when “waking” the LEGO Mario figure from a nap.
In a response to a comment highlighting this discovery, LEGO’s official Facebook account issued the following comment, seemingly suggesting that a LEGO Luigi could be on its way very soon:
“Now that’s a very creative way to get his missing brother. We did notice that Lego Mario has started calling for him, we’re looking into it and hope to have clarity on why this is soon. Stay tuned! :)”
