TT Games has announced that the fan-favorite character customization feature has been cut from LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
The news was shared by TT Games on Twitter, in response to an old interview from 2019 where designer Mike Consalvey said that character customization would be included in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. According to TT Games, plans have changed since the interview was given, and they clarified that character customization has since been removed from the game.
Character customization has been a big part of previous LEGO games, with LEGO DC Super-Villains even having the player’s custom character play an important role in the game’s story. Although such a feature probably would not fit in as nicely into a game revolving entirely around a game mainly focusing on the Skywalker era of Star Wars, it is still a shame that this fan-favorite feature will no longer be part of the title.
