Level-5 has shared an update regarding Yo-kai Watch, the famously popular monster collecting game series base don Japanese yokai.
This news come via a Tweet from Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino discussing the Yo-kai Watch anime series, which he says will be “taking a break” after the current season’s finale on March 31st 2023. Along with this, he also shared an image of a mysterious yokai, adding that he is working on “the next amazing thing” in the world of Yo-kai Watch.
Given that Level-5 recently announced many new game projects, it would not be surprising if Hino is teasing a brand new game in the Yo-kai Watch series, although further details on this new project have yet to be officially revealed. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
