Nintendo of America has announced the official pricing for Nintendo Switch 2 systems and games in three Latin American countries – Mexico, Colombia, and Chile.
Nintendo Switch 2 will launch in these countries on June 5, 2025. Among the three countries, the standalone console is the most expensive in Mexico at USD694, with Colombia the cheapest at USD665. That’s about up to 54% higher than the US price (no sales tax factored in). Prices for games are higher than most countries as well, with Mario Kart World (~USD102) costing up to 20% higher than the US price (USD79.99).
Keep in mind that these countries have high taxes and tariffs, which may have contributed to the high cost of the console.
In addition, first-party titles such as Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will cost the same physically and digitally in Latin America. This is similar to Nintendo’s pricing strategy in North America.
