LIBERATED, an action-adventure game about the revolution in a cyberpunk world, will launch on Nintendo Switch on June 2nd, 2020. The release date was revealed in a new CG story trailer that introduces gamers to the tech-noir future.
LIBERATED is an award-winning side-scrolling game set in a surveillance dystopia. Full of shootouts, sneaking, hacking, and platforming, the game lets you experience the story of a revolutionary movement in a world where the society is controlled through information.
The game will be sold via Nintendo eShop at the price of USD 19.99 / EUR 19.99 / GBP 17.99. LIBERATED is already available to pre-order with a 20% discount (USD 15.99 / EUR 15.99 / GBP 14.39).
LIBERATED seamlessly merges its groundbreaking graphic novel style, inspired by Frank Miller and Will Eisner, with short bursts of action. With a quick pan to another panel, you move from narrative to gameplay, both in carefully balanced proportions.
“Liberated has been a huge labor of love and collaborative effort between Walkabout, Atomic Wolf and L.inc,” said Piotr Gnyp, head of BizDev at Walkabout, the publisher of LIBERATED. “We hope that with Liberated we will give a second life to comic book and graphic novel genres, using technology to bring them into a new era of interactive storytelling.”
