Limited Run Games has announced they are releasing a new version of DOOM for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).
This “Definitive” release for the game will include a physical cartridge of DOOM for SNES, including a number of additional content and features:
- All 4 DOOM episodes, including Thy Flesh Consumed
- Added circle-strafe
- Performance improvements
- Monster respawning on Nightmare difficulty
- Level codes
- Rumble support via an all-new controller
The release will be available in both Standard and Collector’s Editions, including goodies such as a Retro Box, Instruction Booklet, Poster, and controller. It is planned to release sometime in 2025.
