Limited Run Games’ Next Physical Release Is Fault – Milestone One, Pre-Orders Open July 21

Looking for an amazing visual novel to add to your physical collection? This announcement might just be for you!

Limited Run Games and Sekai Games have announced that the science fantasy visual novel Fault – Milestone One is getting a physical release on Switch, with pre-orders starting on July 21. The standard edition includes a reversible cover with the new official art of the game.

On the other hand, the Collector’s Edition comes in a box with brand new art, as well as the following items:

  • Art book with new and original art of Fault, and an exclusive English-only new novel / manga called “Psychopath Rune-chan,” a definitive mini episode that seals the end of Fault – Milestone One.
  • Original Soundtrack with two CDs of music from the console version including “Plea for Parity,” the opening track made by Sakuzyo and vocals by Midorizaka Aaya.
  • Game case with a reversible cover with the latest official art of the game.
  • A set of three adorable keychains with the main characters (Selphine, Ritona, and Rune).
  • Two stickers sheets with various SD art of the characters.

And here’s an overview of the game itself:

Fault is a series of science fantasy cinematic novels using a unique 3D Camera system for a visually immersive reading experience, which follow the story of a princess named Selphine and her Royal Guardian Ritona. When a sudden assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide, the two are forced to escape… but somehow end up teleported into an unknown forest full of vegetation they don’t recognize. The atmosphere is thick and heavy. There is no sign of life, which is very unusual for such a lush forest. Something is wrong about the land… But they are too startled to notice what.

Who were the attackers and what was their goal?
Where did Selphine and Ritona end up?
Will the two make it home safely?
And more importantly, what has happened to their homeland?

Follow Selphine, the bubbly, happy-go-lucky Princess and her sharp-witted but slightly misanthropic Royal Guardian Ritona, on their journey of a lifetime back to their homeland of Rughzenhaide.

Will you be getting this physical release? Let us know in the comments!
