Castlevania series fans will finally get to own many of its classics physically on Nintendo Switch!
Limited Run Games recently revealed its planned physical editions for Castlevania Anniversary Collection – which collects Castlevania, Castlevania II Simon’s Quest, Castlevania III Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania IV, Castlevania The Adventure, Castlevania II Belmont’s Revenge, Castlevania Bloodlines, and Kid Dracula on one cartridge. Open pre-orders for the title will commence on 14 May 2021 (10 am ET), and run for 6 weeks.
Along with a $34.99 USD standard edition (pictured above), the publisher also revealed multiple special bundles for the game. First up is a $59.99 USD Classic Edition (seen below) – which will feature extras such as a throwback NES-Style Konami silver box, removable O-Sleeve, retro NES-Style dust sleeve, physical soundtrack CD, and a reversible 18- by 24-inch poster
Next up is a $59.99 USD Bloodlines Edition (seen below) – which will contain extras like a deluxe Sega Genesis-style plastic clamshell case, a removable O-Sleeve, a physical soundtrack CD, and a reversible 18- by 24-inch poster:
Finally, Limited Run Games also revealed a massive $174.99 USD Ultimate Edition (pictured below) – which will include a throwback NES-Style Konami silver box, removable O-Sleeve, retro NES-Style dust sleeve, physical soundtrack CD, a reversible 18- by 24-inch poster, a deluxe Sega Genesis-style plastic clamshell case, “The History of Castlevania: Book of the Crescent Moon” Book, Miniature Replica Box Collection featuring all eight games from the Castlevania Anniversary Collection, Three Premium Retro Box Art Prints, Castlevania Logo Enamel Pin, a SteelBook Case, and a Shadow Box with button-activated lights/sound.
