Square Enix has released a new trailer showcasing Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame’s Track Editor.
Check out the trailer and details on the track editor below.
CHOOSE THE STADIUM:
The first step to generating a custom track is to pick the perfect stadium: choose everything from indoors to outdoors, large or small and even location. Once your stadium is set, players can conjure up a never-before-experienced track.DESIGN THE TRACK:
The track editor, available on PS4, Xbox One and PC, is based on a modular system, where players can mix-and-match over 80 modules to craft their creation. Once the starting grid is placed, it’s time to unleash your imagination. Track pieces will include curves with different angles, whoops, single and triple jumps or rhythm sections and straight lines all the way to the finish line. After gamers are satisfied with their track’s layout, they can then upload the track online and make it available for other users to experience. Whether it’s with friends or in single-player, the track editor will help players generate thousands of tracks for the world to experience online or download.
ENGAGE WITH OTHER PLAYERS:
Once uploaded on the server, players can use “Likes” to vote for their favourite tracks, in turn increasing the prestige of the track designer. The higher prestige you have, the quicker you will proceed through championships and unlock access special items like bronze, silver and gold badges, plus sponsors, exclusive rear-facing patches, profile icons and more. Courses created with the track editor can be played in the online modes: Single Event, Time Attack and Custom Championship.
