Since January 20, 2018, select train stations in Japan started offering Pikachu Bento sets on weekends and public holidays.
In case you are unaware, bento are Japanese meals which typically contain rice or noodles, fish or meat, and pickled and cooked vegetables, in a box. Train station bento are also known as Ekiben, and they are mean to be eaten either at the train station or on a train.
Here’s the special packaging that the bento comes in:
The Pikachu Bento comes with a variety of ingredients, such as egg, rice, peas, seaweed, pickels, prawn, and broccoli.
