Lovers In A Dangerous Spacetime Physical Edition Releases Today

Super Rare Games has started shipping the physical release of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime for Nintendo Switch. Only 3000 copies are available – once gone, they’re gone for good.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is now available exclusively at Super Rare Games for $34.99 / £29.99 / €33.99.

Super Rare Games physical release of ‘Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime’ for Nintendo Switch is out today. Only 3,000 copies of this well-loved indie title will ever be available – and the release will ship today!

Super Rare Games is rapidly becoming the best way to build a physical collection of the very best Nintendo Switch games – and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime marks the fourth entry in the series, following on from Human: Fall Flat, The Flame in the Flood and Shelter Generations.

Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime was developed by Asteroid Base, a three-person studio based in Toronto, Canada, and has been received well commercially and critically since its launch back in 2015. The game was then releases on the Nintendo Switch in December of 2017, quickly becoming an essential for any video game enthusiasts.

The game involves pioneering a spaceship through a dangerous neon galaxy, only through teamwork and co-ordination will you be able to triumph over the evil forces of Anti-Love.  Randomised level layouts mean that all players will be exploring unique areas with each play-through.

The Super Rare edition will include an exclusive sticker as well as three trading cards randomly selected from the five-card set. Excitingly, 125 of these cards have been signed by the development team of the game, Adam Winkels, Jamie Tucker and Matt Hammill – making some copies even rarer.

“Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime truly epitomises what we are trying to achieve at Super Rare Games, taking one of the funnest indie titles around and getting it onto the fans shelves,” said George Perkins, Super Rare games. “The game plays incredibly well both in single and co-op play. I cannot recommend this game more highly.”

Nintendo consoles were what the Asteroid Base team were first introduced to, making the partnership with SRG incredibly enticing. “Since we’re from the generation that grew up with NES and SNES, being able to release a physical edition worthy of the Original Nintendo Seal of Quality is a lifelong dream come true!” said Jamie Tucker, Asteroid Base
