Famitsu has published the Japanese sales rankings for December 16 to December 22, 2019 today.
Pokemon Sword and Shield have remained at the top of the charts for the sixth week in the row. The games moved 288,199 copies last week, bringing up its total to 2.74 million units. Luigi’s Mansion 3 came in at second place, moving an impressive 78,903 units. It has crossed the 400k mark as lifetime sales have reached 446,649 units.
Ring Fit Adventure sales are starting to reach its fullest potential as well thanks to the restocks in Japan. The game came in at third place selling 56,861 units, with lifetime sales hitting 443,118 units. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 have sold over 100,000 copies in its lifetime.
Nintendo Switch hardware sales were 189,908 units, while Switch Lite sales were 101,577 units. The original Switch has crossed 10 million pieces sold according to Famitsu estimates.
