GamesIndustry has reported on how Luigi’s Mansion 3 fared in its first week in the United Kingdom.
According to retailers in the UK, Luigi’s Mansion 3 is currently the fastest selling Nintendo Switch game in the UK in 2019, beating Super Mario Maker 2 and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. This is partially because Luigi’s Mansion 3 launched on a Thursday (October 31) rather than a Friday, giving it a head start over the two games.
GamesIndustry further reported Luigi’s Mansion 3 was the bestselling new game in the last week of October, and overall the second bestselling game of the week. Physical launch sales for Luigi’s Mansion 3 are 140% higher than Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon.
