Want to breeze through Luigi’s Mansion 3 with less hassle? Well, someone has discovered a nifty trick to help you with that!
In particular, a fan has figured out an interesting glitch to skip through one of the game’s boss battles almost entirely! For the sake of preserving the full game experience, you can check out the glitch in question after the spoiler jump below:
As you can see above, the skip involves the battle with the Amadeus Wolfgeist boss – who guards the Toad painting. Normally, players would find themselves unable to climb onto the theater stage and exit to the backroom (where the painting is), since the boss removes a set of stairs. By messing around with Gooigi, however, it’s possible to push Luigi up onto the stage.
This allows one to enter the backroom from the left of the stage during the boss battle. Following this, the glitch then requires players to save and reset the game – which tricks the system into thinking that players have beaten Amadeus Wolfgeist! Players can then retrieve the Toad painting with little fuss.
A word of caution though: this glitch can be tricky to pull off, as it requires players to enter the backroom at a particular point of the boss battle. If done incorrectly, it’s possible for players to softlock their game.
In any case, that’s just a brief gist of the glitch. If you want to learn more in detail about how to pull it off, you can refer to the original post of the player who discovered it over here.
