Earlier today, Nintendo released a MAR10 Day presentation for 2024, revealing some upcoming news for the franchise.
The presentation mainly focused on officially announcing a second Super Mario Bros. animated film, once again created in collaboration with Illumination. Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination’s Chris Meledandri both make appearances to discuss the new project, which will “broaden Mario’s world further” with a “bright and fun story”. It is planned to release on April 3rd 2026.
