The day has finally arrived – Mario now has the ability to swim in lava. It only took 32 years.
In Super Mario Odyssey, Mario can “capture” enemies to use their abilities to his advantage. By capturing a Podoboo, he’ll be able to swim in lava, something impossible if he dives directly into a pit of lava.
Shaking the Joy-Con will increase Podoboo Mario’s speed, as if he was “skipping on water”.
