Mario Kart North American Open May 2020 Announced, Winners Get 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Coins

Want to test your Mario Kart 8 Deluxe supremacy against other players and potentially win some sweet prizes along the way? You can look forward to bumping karts this May!

Nintendo has confirmed that it will be hosting a ‘Mario Kart North American Open May 2020’ tournament from 8 to 10 May 2020 (12pm – 6pm PT each day). The competition is open to US, Canada, and Mexico citizens – with the prize being 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Coins (i.e. $25 eShop credit) for each of the top 8 players each day!

Clean up the competition this spring in the Mario Kart North American Open May 2020 for a chance to win 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points! Race onto your Nintendo Switch system from May 8th to May 10th each day from 12PM PT to 6PM PT and make your way up the leaderboard (max 24 races). At the end of each day, the racers with the top 8 point totals will be eligible to win 2,500 My Nintendo Gold Points! Join the excitement by entering the following tournament codes on each day:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Open to legal residents of the US and Canada who are ages 13+ and Mexico who are 18+ and have access to a Nintendo Switch system, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game, high-speed Internet access and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Tournament begins at 12:00pm PT on 5/8/2020 and ends at 6:00pm PT on 5/10/2020. To participate, you must participate in the specified Online Play Tournament in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the Tournament Period and enter the code specified in the Official Rules for that Tournament Day. There will be 8 winners each Tournament Day, selected based on the number of points accumulated in up to 24 races during that Tournament Day.
