The Mario Kart Tour official website has been updated with some interesting information about Gold Pass, a monthly subscription service.

Gold Pass is a premium service that costs USD4.99 every month. By subscribing to the Gold Pass, you get to receive Gold Gifts by racing on tours, special in-game badges from Gold Challenges, and the highly coveted 200cc mode.

This is the first time Nintendo has ever included a monthly subscription service in a smartphone game, so we’ll going to have to see how it works out.
