Mario Kart Tour Multiplayer Beta Now Available For Gold Pass Subscribers, Until December 27

Been dying to experience real multiplayer in Mario Kart Tour? Well, now you can finally dip your toes into the new feature!

The previously-rumored multiplayer beta has commenced as of earlier today! Players with a Gold Pass subscription will be able to experience true multiplayer races from now until 27 December 2019 (5:59 am UTC).

You can read up on the full details of the beta over here, or down below:

“A real-time multiplayer beta test available for subscribers to the Mario Kart Tour Gold Pass will be held during the following period:
Approximately 07:00 UTC on 19th December, 2019 to 05:59 UTC on 27th December, 2019

Players in their Gold Pass free trial period are eligible to participate.

Please be sure to read this notice before participating in the beta test.

This is a beta test to make sure real-time multiplayer works as intended before it’s made available to all players.

Please be aware that the following issues may occur depending on the specifications of your device, as well as the condition of your network connection and the connections of the players you’re matched with:

  • The game’s connection becomes unstable or fails
  • The game freezes or crashes
  • Network or input lag makes steering unresponsive

Thank you for understanding that such issues may occur during this beta test.

Notes:

Certain multiplayer specifications will change between its beta test and its full release. Therefore, multiplayer save data generated during this beta test cannot be carried over to the full multiplayer release.

In rare cases, playing this beta test may cause your device’s battery to drain faster than normal or your device to heat up more than normal. In such a case, please stop playing immediately.

This game requires a persistent internet connection. Participants in this beta test are responsible for data charges incurred during play.

The content and duration of this beta test are subject to change or cancellation without prior notice.”
