It looks like the mobile game Mario Kart Tour is off to an outstanding head-start.
Sensor Tower has weighed in with the game’s performance, following its debut earlier today. In particular, things are looking quite strong for Nintendo this time with the game taking the No. 1 spot in 58 different markets – including both the US and Japan.
In terms of iPhone app revenue, the game is currently ranked at 19th place in the US. That’s a huge leap above the lackluster Dr. Mario World (which was only 503th place in its own debut), although it didn’t quite reach the money-making power of Fire Emblem Heroes (which took 17th place in its 2017 debut).
All in all, the mobile spin-off is doing quite impressively! We’ll report back on its market performance as we hear more.
