Nintendo has published their latest earnings report, revealing our first global sales figures for Mario Kart World.
According to Nintendo’s data, Mario Kart World has sold 5.63 million units as of 30th June 2025, which is within its first month on store shelves. This figure is just shy of the Switch 2 console’s overall sales figure of 5.82 million units during the same period, possibly hinting that the majority of current Switch 2 owners also picked up Mario Kart World.
While these are impressive numbers, the game has a long way to go to reach the heights achieved by its predecessor Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, which remains the Switch 1’s top selling game with 68.86 million units sold as of 30th June 2025. Stay tuned for more updates as they come.
