Mario Kart World Direct Introduces Rewind And Charge Jump

The Mario Kart World Direct has introduced two actions new to the Mario Kart series.

Charge Jumps can be performed by holding the R button and releasing it after sparks appear while driving. This will give you a speed boost and allow you to jump to avoid obstacles, reach high up places, or even briefly drive on the walls.

The second action is rewind. This action can be used to rewind time if you missed a shortcut or drove off course, however it can only be used when playing alone or in Free Roam. Keep in mind that other karts may drive past you when using rewind as it doesn’t affect them.
